The PositionWe're currently searching for a Parts Interpreter to join a global equipment manufacturer based in Seven Hills, Sydney. This role will be responsible for:
  • Handling inbound phone and email inquiries related to parts.
  • Interpreting parts requirements for customers.
  • Generating and presenting quotes, along with pricing submissions.
  • Coordinating with head office and operational staff regarding parts availability.
  • Managing delivery timeframes and customer expectations.
  • Overseeing stock control and orders.
This is a Monday-to-Friday role with occasional opportunities for overtime. Please note that this position does not currently offer work-from-home flexibility.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have experience working in the spare parts industry as a Spare Parts Interpreter or Advisor. You DO NOT require any parts experience in heavy machinery!Minimum requirements include:
  • At least 1 years of experience in parts interpreter (automotive, machinery, trucks or any other relatable parts experience)
  • Cert III Automotive Parts Sales or experience on the job
  • SAP experience (ideally)
  • Current driver's license
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage stock efficiently
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
