This part-time role focuses on delivering a holistic and integrated Arts program across ELC to Year 5, with a strong emphasis on Music and opportunities to contribute to Visual Arts. In 2026, we are excited to expand our offerings to include Year 5, reflecting our commitment to providing a comprehensive and nurturing educational journey for students in the region.About the RoleThe Arts Teacher will be expected to:
- Deliver a dynamic Performing Arts program aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Reggio Emilia principles.
- Coordinate and conduct school bands, performances, and co-curricular Arts activities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and leadership to integrate Arts across learning areas.
- Report on student progress in the Arts learning areas and contribute to semester reports.
- Ideally, also deliver a Visual Arts program across Years 3-5.
- A qualified educator with a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or higher.
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
- Current RRHAN-EC and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Specialist qualification in Music and experience in conducting bands and performances.
- Ability to deliver a student-centred, inquiry-based Arts program that fosters creativity and independence.
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to building relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Passion for ongoing professional learning and growth.
