Operating across the future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities.About the RoleSeeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our exciting new project in Wollongong. Reporting to the Project Manager this role plays a key part in the guidance and inputting the correct estimates and working collaboratively within a multi-discipline team. This position will provide technical engineering expertise on the mechanical requirements specific to this particular project.About You

Understand client requirements (this includes site visits and client engagements)
Develop estimations as per client requirements and the schedule to the required level of accuracy and quality.
Ensure the correct EBA is used for estimating each respective bid/proposal/tender. Ensure accurate workforce planning (numbers, capability and costs) is used.
Utilise the Candy Estimating Library to ensure compliance and the use of the correct design template.
Clearly and correctly provide pricing calculations including labour and technical costs
Provide sound, qualified decision-making to the estimating process, following process and protocols
zero harm to our people, clients and assets in Sector.
3+ years of estimating experience within contracting environments
Experience within heavy industry, mining or engineering (preferred)
Working knowledge of business bids, estimating and proposal procedures
Flexibility to adapt style and approach to suit the situation
