- Compile high quality field service and job reports to facilitate clear provision of information to customers and/or warranty department.
- Ability to work cooperatively on sites with both Customer and Equipment suppliers on a daily basis and liaise with maintenance planners to ensure scheduled equipment maintenance is carried out.
- Provide technical assistance as required.
- Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.
- Trade Qualification's (Diesel Mechanic) or similar.
- Extensive' experience in the maintenance of mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment - in particular Diesel Engines.
- Have a strong background maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles;
- Experience in understanding and interpreting fault code data and machine information
- Ability to understand and action technical product information.
- Demonstrated skills in understanding customer support requirements.
- Detailed practical working knowledge and operation of appropriate PPS machinery, tools and equipment - in particular MTU engines.
- Current coal board medical.
- Current Standard 11 including BMA.
