Learn more .About the teamThe Program Management Office (PMO) is a small team that work on both ICT and business projects to ensure the organisation is positioned to meet the requirements of our internal and external clients.Current opportunityWe are embarking on an exciting internal project which is the biggest we have seen at BDO. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Training Manager to join the team based in Brisbane.Working as part of the Change Team, the objective of this Training Manager is to provide training management services to uplift the capability of our business and support the successful adoption of a new HRIS and Finance system.Please note: This is a max term contract position until the end of the year.What you’ll be doing
  • Support the design and develop the strategy around the training plan and curriculum
  • Identify appropriate training methods, execute the delivery of training, and provide system demonstrations to key stakeholders
  • Identify resources to support training materials, review process and facilitate reviews
  • Manage training materials, and the development of training content and translations, where necessary
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training gaps and create relevant and engaging learning solutions
  • Implement effective learning methodologies, such as e-learning, classroom training, workshops, and coaching, to meet the diverse learning styles of employees
What you’ll need to succeedOur ideal candidate has well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have proven experience as a Training Manager working on complex projects that include changes to systems, processes, and best practice.Other skills and attributes we are looking for:
  • Professional certification in learning and development / training
  • Demonstrable experience supporting the successful development and execution of a training strategy
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools, as well as Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge/experience of the Workday platform is highly regarded
  • Experience maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve the organisation’s objectives.
