Full Stack Engineer - API & Web Portal Development (Federal Government)About the client:
Our client is a global consultancy delivering secure, scalable digital solutions across government and enterprise platforms. This role supports full stack development for web portals and APIs in a federal government environment.About the role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in API development, cloud infrastructure, and modern front-end frameworks. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components, deploying containerised applications, and ensuring accessibility and performance across platforms.Key Responsibilities:

Build complex APIs using Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript with REST and GraphQL.
Develop accessible web applications using React and TypeScript (WCAG 2.1 compliance).
Deploy containerised applications using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.
Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform on AWS.
Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
Write unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
Manage Postgres and MySQL database deployment and administration.
Contribute across the SDLC: design, development, code reviews, and maintenance.

Required Experience:

Strong experience in full stack development and API architecture.
Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform.
Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
Proven ability to deliver accessible, scalable web applications.
Experience in database management and system testing.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Angular and mobile app development (React Native or similar).
Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration.
Prior experience in government or public sector environments.

Mandatory Requirements:

Australian Citizenship.
Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance.
