Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.About the Role:We are seeking experienced Ballast Cleaning Track Supervisors to join the team at Rio Tinto in the Rail division based at Dampier. The successful candidate will work on a 12/9 roster, FIFO from Perth.Responsibilities and Duties:Drive performance outputs of the team through scheduled compliance of Ballast Cleaner executionLiaise with planning, scheduling and asset assurance teams to ensure asset integrity and productivity of contractorsEnsure all operational plans and works are reviewed for scope qualityEnsuring that all sites resources, including labour, machinery material and subcontractors are effectively planned, utilised and monitored in order to achieve timely completion of designated tasks.Supply and review of daily reports and timesheets for all works carried out in the streamIdentifying and managing hazards in the workplace and reporting them both to employees and management.Attendance at daily and weekly maintenance meetings to ensure planning and execution is completed at a high standard.Assist to plan resources to ensure works are delivered as efficiently as possibleManage the procurement of consumables in accordance with budgetEnsuring that reports, records, timesheets and invoices are accurate and submitted to superintendent ensuring that there is alignment to expectations on budget and forecast.Skills & Experience Required:Certificate IV in Front-Line Management desirableM1 safe working certificateCertificate III in Rail Infrastructure - mandatoryFirst Aid Certificate desirableLevel 1 Investigation training desirableActively monitor resourcing needs and respond to resourcing changesAble to input data in multiple systems including but not limited to Word, Excel, SAP, and HOS.Demonstrated radio communication skillsAbout WorkPac:WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
