About the roleThis role is a chance to be on the front line of something different in our industry. The Plumbers Co-op isn’t just another merchant. We’re owned by plumbers, and we exist to serve them — not external shareholders. That means our success flows directly back to the people who make it possible: our members and our team.As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing existing account holders as well as maximizing new business opportunities with the focus on continually improving sales and margin.You will provide pricing and quotations for new and existing account holders with a high level of customer satisfaction and working closely with Branch staff to ensure we deliver on our promise.We will provide you with training and a range of opportunities for individual and professional growth.About you
  • Ideally you will have experience in a sales role in the plumbing trade/hardware industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales is essential.
  • Passion, result-oriented and ambitious.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse sales data.
  • An appreciation for the importance of good relationships.
  • Key account management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • To be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
