We see ourselves as partners with parents and students to provide a supporting and caring environment during the High School years.Find out more about our school by visiting or .The RoleLeeming SHS is seeking to appoint a permanent 0.2 Home Economics Teacher, commencing 2026.The successful applicant should have the ability to work as part of a collegiate team; be solutions focused and have the qualifications and ability to deliver the Certificate II in Hospitality. A willingness to also teach across other technology and enterprise (T&E) subjects or other learning areas would be beneficial. The successful applicant will also ideally have high expectations, a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and can establish and maintain a positive classroom environment. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching is important, as is the ability to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. They will ideally have a deep understanding of instructional strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process and be reflective practitioners who actively engage in activities to improve their professional practice. The successful applicant will ideally possess highly professional skills in interpersonal communication and have a flexible approach to a changing educational landscape.
