About This OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Business Administration Officer to join the FaBA Executive team. Join a nationally significant initiative that’s driving innovation, creating jobs, and transforming the food and beverage manufacturing industry. As the Senior Business Administration Officer within the Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA), you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, high-impact program hosted by UQ and backed by over $160 million in funding.The University of Queensland-led Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA) is a $160 million+ initiative funded by the Australian Government’s Trailblazer program, with support from QUT, UniSQ, CSIRO, and over 30 industry partners. FaBA aims to double the value of Australia’s food and beverage manufacturing sector by 2030 through smart production, innovative ingredients, and new product development.Key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert administrative support to the FaBA Executive, including diary management, SOPs, and reporting systems.
Coordinating FaBA committees and supporting governance activities.
Facilitating internal and external communications, maintaining the FaBA website, and supporting events.
Leading and coordinating projects within the FaBA Directorate.
Managing financial administration and travel arrangements.

About YouYou’ll be a highly organised and motivated professional with:
A degree with relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience supporting senior staff and governance committees.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.
Familiarity with eDM platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and website editing (Drupal, Wordpress).
Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
