Are you an accomplished BDM that enjoys building long standing and successful relationships with your building clients?Beaumont Tiles Darwin is on the hunt a Business and Development Manager to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your capabilites in adjusting and devising solutions tailored to our clients' requirements, supported by your effective and direct communication style.THE ROLE…Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for achieving market dominance in the Commercial & Residential building sector. The role will drive significant growth and expand existing relationships in the business.You will also be expected to:

Support any new leads coming from the Commercial Business Development team
Source and win new business from your established industry networks
Establish and maintain relevant and meaningful industry network relationships
Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity and technical knowledge
Develop and conduct professional and engaging presentations
Promote and secure Preferred Supplier Agreements

YOU…You will demonstrate your experience and proven track record as a successful BDM in the building industry and that you are an expert in the art of sales, overcoming objections and closing deals at a professional level.Other skills and experience includes:

A significant level of contacts within Commercial building sector
Have the qualities of a trusted adviser, one that can create value and offer a superior service
Highly motivated, self-driven with a competitive desire to win
Have a strong understanding of the Commercial building industry
Proven abilities in presenting, pitching and negotiations
Well-developed time management and reporting skills
Technologically savvy
