Job Category: Human ResourcesJob Description:DP World is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function at our Brisbane port terminal. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring effective HR operations, fostering a high-performance workforce, and maintaining strong industrial and employee relations in a safety-first, 24/7 environment.You'll work closely with Terminal Leadership and the VP - People to align people strategies with operational goals, supporting workforce planning and change initiatives while ensuring compliance, safety, and strong employee engagement in a unionised, regulated environment.If you're a senior HR professional with a strong business partnering background, a strategic mindset, and a passion for leading with influence and empathy, this is the role for you.Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead the strategic delivery of the employee lifecycle for terminal operations, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding processes are aligned with operational goals and support a high-performing, safety-focused, and agile workforce
  • Ensure effective alignment of HR strategies and initiatives as defined by DP World Australia (DPWA) and the APAC Regional HR team with local business objectives and operational needs.
  • Facilitate key people processes within the business unit, such as performance reviews, talent management, and succession planning, in collaboration with functional leaders.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyse critical HR metrics and workforce data to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement across business units.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks, promoting adherence to internal standards and external legislative requirements.
  • Actively contribute to national HR projects and cross-functional initiatives that support the broader DPWA business, driving innovation and consistency in HR service delivery.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' senior HR leadership experience driving strategic partnerships with business leaders to shape and execute impactful people strategies.
  • Strong leadership in managing HR projects, driving change, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to apply HR expertise to improve performance.
  • Skilled coach in employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability to use HR data for informed decision-making.
  • Experience in logistics, ports, supply chain, or industrial sectors is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, industrial agreements, and HR policies.
