You’ll be the driving force behind:
- Developing and refining the insurance strategy to ensure it’s fit for purpose across the member lifecycle.
- Managing end-to-end claims processes — ensuring compassion, transparency, and efficiency at every stage.
- Building strong partnerships with the Group Life Insurance Provider and other key stakeholders.
- Enhancing the member experience through education, clear communication, and service excellence.
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who can combine insurance expertise with a member-first mindset. Ideally, you will have:
- 5–7 years’ experience in claims management (life insurance, superannuation, or financial services).
- Strong understanding of Death, TPD, and Income Protection claims processes.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling product and service propositions.
- Experience managing outsourced service providers and negotiating high-quality outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy at the core.
- RG146 certification (essential) and a relevant degree in Finance, Commerce, or similar (preferred).
