That’s where you come in.The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Member Servicing & Proposition, you’ll take ownership of their Insurance Proposition — designing, delivering, and optimising insurance products and services that support member growth, retention, and trust.
You’ll be the driving force behind:

Developing and refining the insurance strategy to ensure it’s fit for purpose across the member lifecycle.
Managing end-to-end claims processes — ensuring compassion, transparency, and efficiency at every stage.
Building strong partnerships with the Group Life Insurance Provider and other key stakeholders.
Enhancing the member experience through education, clear communication, and service excellence.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and you’ll be central to improving outcomes for members during some of life’s most challenging moments.
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who can combine insurance expertise with a member-first mindset. Ideally, you will have:

5–7 years’ experience in claims management (life insurance, superannuation, or financial services).
Strong understanding of Death, TPD, and Income Protection claims processes.
Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling product and service propositions.
Experience managing outsourced service providers and negotiating high-quality outcomes.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy at the core.
RG146 certification (essential) and a relevant degree in Finance, Commerce, or similar (preferred).
