SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TOOWOOMBA GROWTH - BECOME OUR INFRASTRUCTURE CHARGES OFFICER!About You:As the Infrastructure Charges Officer, you will be responsible for calculating, auditing, and recording infrastructure establishment costs and contributions. In addition, you will provide high-level auditing support that requires sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity. This role involves reviewing Infrastructure Agreements and preparing Infrastructure Charges Notices related to development approvals. You will also identify areas for process improvement within the Infrastructure Charges section, contribute to finding solutions, and provide complex administrative support to senior officers and management.Additionally, the position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and apply critical knowledge, especially in cases where procedures are not clearly defined. You will also deliver excellent customer service by responding to internal and external inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.The Team:Join a proactive team committed to facilitating growth in the Toowoomba Region. How to be successful in this position:
  • Bachelor Degree in either Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business or a related field from a recognised Tertiary Institution, with substantial experience.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines, with the ability to provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
