Adecco are currently recruiting for a Maintenance or Industrial Electrician to work in a highly reputable international FMCG manufacturer who specialises in supplying a large range of high quality products. It is a permanent role and will be located in the Ipswich area. Rotating 12 hour shifts between day and night shift from 5am - 5pm and 5pm - 5am. There is a new roster which is based on 38 hours a week and where you regularly have 5 days off in a row. It is paying $48 - $49 per hour base plus superannuation and shift loading (hourly rate could be negotiable higher based on relevant industry experience) and there is a small amount of overtime available. All hours over 38 hours a week are paid at penalties as is working on a Sunday. To install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
To ensure all electrical systems operate in and out of the factory in order to support customer service
Maintain operational excellence via improvement strategies on quality and efficiency
Carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance
Maintain agreed inventory of Engineering spare parts and tools
Perform preventive maintenance programmes as determined by the manufacturer's equipment
Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions so as to minimise equipment downtime

ProfileKnowledge & Skill

Electrician trade qualification
Electrical Licence
Strong electrical aptitude in an industrial environment with solid fault finding ability
Experience with PLC's, VSD's, sensors, electrical components
Experience in FMCG manufacturing (Desirable but not essential)
Computer literacy and demonstrated competence in the use of a CMMS
Working at heights experience (desirable)
Strong focus on safety at all times

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with a fantastic rate - $48 - $49 per hour base plus 11% superannuation and shift loading (hourly rate could be negotiable higher based on relevant industry experience)
12 hour rotating shifts between day and night - 5am - 5pm and 5pm - 5am
New roster where you regularly have 5 days off in a row
Overtime paid at penalties
