7:7 roster with accommodation provided (DIDO/ FIFO)
Contract until Aug 2024, with potential permanent long-term roles at other sites

Immediate starts on a 7 days on 7 days off roster
UG hard rock mine with 90% surface workshop work
Attractive contract rates till 31st July 2024 (potential longer terms extensions)
Work in a small crew on the maintenance of UG mining drills, trucks and boggers
Accommodation provided + attractive tax-free food allowance per day
DIDO and FIFO options available
Up to $75.00ph + super (for the right applicants)

The mine siteLocated 90 minutes east of Canberra and 20 minutes south of Braidwood this UG hard rock mine has 5 months left on its mine life.

Machinery - Sandvik jumbo, solo. CAT boggers. Trucks + ancillary equipment

Duties & responsibilities

Working in a team of 2/3 tradespeople, reporting to a leading hand on crew
Workshop (80%) - servicing, scheduled maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding, component change out, PM work out, scheduled maintenance, general repairs
Field (20% where capable) - servicing of drills UG, breakdowns and first response problem solving, diagnostics, general repairs UG

Your skills and experienceYou will come from a diesel trade based background and have exposure with any of the following heavy vehicles, civil or ag machinery, open cut or UG mining machinery. You will also;-

Team player and can work autonomously
High attention to detail
Reliable and dedicated to your role
Safety as a number one priority
