This practice has been successfully adapting to the ever-changing health, disability and aged care sectors for the past 25+ years. They are part of the community of Cairns and Far North Queensland. They have the professional resilience and grit to continue to provide compassionate, person centred and evidence-based OT services.The practice has weekly team meetings, mentoring sessions and quarterly team in-services where the team come together with a focus on being the best OTs they can be, share the wins & challenges and gain support from each other. This practice needs another Occupational Therapist with a focus on one or two of our areas of expertise:Home safety and equipment prescriptionWork rehabilitation services and ErgonomicsLymphoedema, swelling managementNeurological RehabilitationHand and upper limb therapyPain management therapyAbout You:You value empathy, respect and kindnessYou are a hands-on therapist, who builds relationships with your clients, referrers and the allied health teamYou are a good communicator, both verbally and in writingYou believe in life-long learning and are keen to dive into knowing more about one or more of our areas of expertiseYou enjoy a bit of diversity in your caseloadPosition Requirements:AHPRA registrationFederal Police CheckHold current drivers licenseSalary Information:
