In this position you may be required to work across multiple areas within the winery completing tasks including:
- Transferring of juice and wine
- Crushing
- Filtering
- Pressing
- Fermentation activities
- Floatation
- Sampling
- Additions
- Automated Tank farms
- Automated Barrel line
In this position you may be required:
- Responsible for assessing grape deliveries.
- Ensuring deliveries meet agreed grape quality standards and specifications.
- Creating accurate weigh notes for grower deliveries.
- Ensuring the deliveries are in line with the confirmed intake schedule.
- Work within the grape intake area.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks.

- Computer literate
- Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Able to perform physical requirements of a cellar operator role (a medical check will be part of the process)Key responsibilities across both roles:
- Support and maintain compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management system by reporting food safety hazards and quality problems as they arise.
- Maintain product quality throughout all cellar operations.
- Ensure all cellar operation records are filled out correctly and in full as a true representation of the operations completed
