- Strategic Vision: You'll be the driving force behind our investment product strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.
- Product Development: Dive deep into market research, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to create innovative investment solutions.
- Lifecycle Management: From ideation to launch, you'll oversee the entire product lifecycle, while ensuring that it continues to meet members and Hostplus' needs and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with our investment team, actuaries, legal experts, and external partners. Your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional results.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with investment and defined benefit products. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Performance Metrics: Define KPIs and track product performance. Continuously optimize and enhance our offerings.
- Knowledge of the superannuation and wealth management industries, including extensive understanding of investment strategy, and product strategy functions;
- Prior applied experience in developing investment product strategies and roadmaps;
- Passion for staying abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, particularly as it relates to investment products and defined benefits;
- Tertiary degree in business, finance, commerce, or related discipline;
- RG 146 compliant;
- A proven ability to operate collaboratively in a dynamic team-based environment yet work independently as required;
- Superior planning & organising skills, advanced research, analytical and forecasting skills; and
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the funds management or the broader financial services industry.
