- Prepare, cook, and present authentic Italian dishes to the highest standard across the restaurant, bar, and special events.
- Supervise your section, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency during prep and service.
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning, specials, and food styling, contributing creative ideas that enhance the guest experience.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards with accurate record keeping.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage storage to minimise waste and maintain cost efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and support Demi Chefs, Commis Chefs, Cooks, and Stewards, helping them grow and succeed.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture built on respect, passion, and collaboration.
- Assist with supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality produce at the best possible price.
- Stay up to date with culinary trends and bring new ideas to keep Ronnie's menu exciting and relevant.
- 2-4 years' experience as a Demi Chef or similar, with a strong passion for Italian cuisine and demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider.
- Previous experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to teamwork.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming, hygiene, and food safety.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
