To assist with this progress, we have a new role available for an Application Specialist - Operational Systems to work in our Digital team where your role will be to improve and support our Projects, Production, and Operations and upstream gas development groups to ensure that we have fit for purpose systems.You will be crucial in assisting the business to identify, analyse and deliver new systems opportunities where process improvements and digital solutions can drive efficiency and deliver value. The work will involve partnering with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the current and future systems are delivering great outcomes, and supporting the application change management, upgrades, fixes and integration of core applications.Other accountabilities are:

Lead the improvements, enablement, and broad adoption of specialist operations and product systems and business processes.
Assist with support and configuration of the current gas development, production and operation systems.
Maximise the adoption and value from the SAP S/4 HANA solution for enterprise asset management, and leverage potential integration for other upstream processes.
Ongoing development and implementation of a digital roadmap for operation applications.
Assist with analysis, prioritisation, market scan and delivery of new systems.
Work with Digital group specialist such as enterprise architects, data & analytics specialists, corporate systems, technology & cyber teams to ensure integrated solutions, data, reporting and security.

About YouYou enjoy working within a small dynamic multi-disciplinary Digital/IT team and engaging with business and technical stakeholders to support systems and identify improvement opportunities.You are able to use your excellent communication skills to instil confidence in the business and in the value of implementing and using the digital systems. You will accomplish this by embedding the new ways of working with key systems, processes and data governance.Other skills and experience required for the role are:

Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (technology, computer science, engineering, business).
Experience working in a business facing role within an IT/Digital group to support, enhance, troubleshoot, and integrate a range of COTS applications.
Experience with business and/or systems analysis on a number of projects.
Experience working in natural gas, natural resources or capital-intensive industries.
Experience with the implementation, continuous improvement, and support of applications used in the natural gas value chain processes (eg. Subsuface, productions, PMO, asset management).
Experience with using or implementing SAP ERP is very desirable.
