You'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing designs for electrical components in our wind, solar, and battery projects throughout their lifecycle, from development to construction and operation/maintenance.Development Phase: Assess and develop new project opportunities, analyse grid connections, and provide support for construction planning.Delivery and Construction Phase: Manage the delivery of primary electrical systems, review technical documents by consultants, prepare specifications & scopes of work, and provide construction support.Operations Phase: Provide technical advice, design documents for upgrades, and support system testing and commissioning.General: Act as point of contact for the electrical team, maintain standards, support overseas projects, and solve complex technical problems.If you're an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for renewable energy, a strong background in HV substation primary plant design, and a drive for technical excellence, then this opportunity is tailored for you.Required Skills and CompetenciesDegree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Extensive experience in consulting or design management roles.Background in power generation, mining or a related industry.Strong technical report and scope writing skills, with experience working in interdisciplinary teams.Commercial acumen and a focus on delivering successful project outcomes.
