Star Pharmacy Group delivers a rare, strategic opportunity for a high performing, intermediate level Lawyer to join their team as an in-house Legal Counsel. The purpose of this newly created role will be to deliver strong governance through hands-on, exemplary practice and counsel that supports our expanding commercial activity across our group aligned to our strategic objectives.Opportunities in the Role:

A competitive salary negotiable (110 - 130K plus super) for this full-time role

As an in-house Legal Counsel, you will have a crucial, hands-on role in overseeing and ensuring that all commercial and legal requirements are upheld to achieve the desired results. You will provide knowledgeable guidance and counsel on various business activities. In addition, you will evaluate and identify ways to enhance contractual governance and compliance practices throughout the organisation. Other key responsibilities may include:

Governance of our group licencing register
Governance of review of all legal agreements
Administration management of all records, formal correspondence and templates
Support our risk management governance and policy governance framework
Support the governance of our Lease Maintenance agreements
Sound counsel to all vested stakeholders

About you:

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk or legal role. Preferably in-house as an employee or secondee
Law Degree or relevant qualification to perform this role
Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Able to demonstrate strong commercial, legal and risk acumen
Exceptional written work with an eye for detail
Established and confident negotiating skills
Able to manage priorities under time constraints, changing landscape coupled with forward planning skills
