Our dedication to safety and reputation for quality and innovation help our customers reach beyond what they thought possible.All you have to do is get on board.CHC is currently inviting expressions of interest from experienced and suitably qualified B1.3 CASA Part 66 Licensed Engineers for the role of Senior Base Engineer at our Bunbury base.In this key leadership position, you will report directly to the Base Manager and work in alignment with CHC policies and procedures, as directed by the Maintenance Manager Part 145.The position will operate on an 8:6 roster with back-to-back coverage. This is a challenging position, will require the successful applicant to cover flexible working hours, and travel away from the Base in the support of a short-term deployment or an unserviceable aircraft recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role and contribute to the ongoing excellence of our maintenance operations. Below are the key responsibilities:
- Oversee production planning in collaboration with the Perth Office and execution of aircraft maintenance activities
- Manage maintenance of aircraft and aeronautical products.
- Ensure compliance with AMO-approved location standards
- Support safe, efficient, and on-time aircraft delivery to operations.
- CASA Part 66 Category B1.3 with AW139 Type Rating; unrestricted license and rating preferred.
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
