Position OverviewWe are seeking a Project Manager with a Civil Engineering background to join a Brisbane-based project team delivering major water and tailings dam remediation works. This is a rare opportunity to work across the full capital project lifecycle (IPS, DPS, EXE), from early design through to execution.Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
Oversee design phases, working closely with engineering consultants.
Coordinate site-based execution, managing contractors and internal stakeholders.
Monitor budgets, track progress, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong communication between site and Brisbane-based teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (5–10 years post-graduate experience ideal).
Strong background in civil/geotechnical projects — water/tailings dam experience highly regarded.
Design consultancy experience preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Capability and attitude to deliver in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

Role Details

Front-end loading (IPS, DPS) primarily Brisbane-based with occasional site travel (approx. 2 days/fortnight).
Monday–Thursday in office, Friday WFH or in office.
Hours: 9 hours/day in office, 11 hours/day on site.
