This includes overseeing the upkeep of turf areas, garden beds, shrubs, trees, and various soft landscapes.Additionally, the role involves maintaining hard landscaping features like courts and paving, marking sports areas, and conducting minor repairs in alignment with departmental policies. The Gardener – Handyperson is also tasked with keeping gardening facilities, equipment, tools, and machinery in a clean and serviceable condition, reporting faults promptly, and adhering to safe work practices.Collaborating with the Manager of Corporate Services, the role contributes to the development of safe work procedures and conducts risk assessments as needed.
