An opportunity has arisen within Dreamworld’s Park Health Facility for a qualified Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic to join our team on a part time basis.Our Park Health team are responsible for leading the delivery of first aid for our park guests and team members and form an essential part of the Park’s Emergency Response Team. As a Registered Nurse/Paramedic you will provide emergency response using advanced clinical assessment skills, deliver first aid in complex situations, conduct pre-employment screenings, conduct ride suitability assessments, assist with the return to work programs and keep up to date electronic incident management recordsApplicants must satisfy the following criteria:

Be a qualified Registered Nurse with proof of qualification and current AHPRA nursing registration – Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or;
Be a qualified Registered Paramedic with proof of qualification and current AHPRA paramedic Registration – Paramedicine Board of Australia
Ability to follow complex Clinical Practice Guidelines
Experience with the administration and documentation of S4 medications
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a small team

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with strong computer skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a sound level of physical fitness. Exceptional guest service skills with professionalism and empathy will see you succeed in this role. On the job training will be provided.Part time (PT20) employment guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week with the opportunity for the successful applicant to flex up to 38 hours per week during peak periods as required.
