
House Manager - HNWI

- Ensure all private homes and retreats are maintained to the highest standards – clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
- Oversee and coordinate external cleaners, ensuring bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas are cleaned to an exceptional level.
- Undertake cleaning duties when necessary, including:
- Daily: making beds, light cleaning of wet areas, vacuuming high-traffic areas.
- Weekly: deep cleaning of bathrooms (where not done by a cleaner), dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming.
- Maintain organisation inside cupboards, closets, and cabinets.
- Ensure any repairs are promptly addressed and systems (IT, security, AV) are functioning correctly
- Manage household supplies, keep the fridge stocked, and undertake grocery shopping and errands.
- Coordinate gardeners, pool cleaners, trades, and contractors for routine maintenance and projects.
- Assist in maintaining information on dietary requirements, inventory, and security access (including tracking serial numbers and codes for fobs and passes).
- Liaise with the Group’s Finance team to ensure accurate record keeping and timely payment of household expenses.
- Prepare meals and snacks following provided directions for the HNWIs and their families – occasionally including for retreats and the family’s boat.
- Ensure bed linen is regularly laundered, ironed, and neatly stored.
- Assist with transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
- Care for children in the event of illness or injury.
- Support the coordination of friends and family visits to retreats, ensuring accommodation is prepared and clear instructions provided to guests.
- Provide support with administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform any reasonable request that enables the HNWIs’ day-to-day lives to run smoothly.
- Proven experience as a House Manager, Housekeeper, Nanny, or Personal Assistant – ideally within a private household or working with HNWIs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
