From shaping its initial design to managing ongoing reporting and engaging with key stakeholders, you'll ensure long-term success and compliance of a diverse portfolio of projects. This isn't just a strategic role; it's hands-on, requiring you to navigate complex challenges and celebrate real-world impact.Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Owning the performance and compliance of a regional portfolio of carbon projects.
  • Leading engagement with landholders, auditors, and the Clean Energy Regulator.
  • Directing strategic, technical, and operational work, including project design and performance target setting.
  • Overseeing business-as-usual operations, including monitoring and reporting.
  • Managing commercial performance, including forecasting and risk management.
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travelling to regional and remote sites for field visits and audits.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of complex projects, ideally in agriculture, environment, or natural capital.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly with landholders, auditors, and regulators.
  • Experience in project design and delivery, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of ecological and environmental sciences (experience with vegetation mapping or carbon methods highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with long-term contracts, risk frameworks, and regulatory reporting.
