Bridge Structures Inspector

- Responsible for inspecting, assessing, and reporting on the status and condition of ConnectSydney’s structures
- Promote a strong commitment to a quality culture, implementing standards of excellence and a continuous improvement business focus
- Assist Supervisors in planning all works and maintenance in accordance with the standards and risk management processes
- Compliance with all contract requirements regarding scheduled inspections
- Contribute to the development and improvement of inspection and maintenance plans
- Assist in business development activities as required
- Ensure all required management systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner
- Raise work orders within ConnectSydney asset management system
- Required to travel within the region and work outside normal working hours including weekends
- Ability to interpret and quantify asset data from construction drawings and plans
- Written communication skills including, sound spreadsheet and word processing abilities
- allowing for the preparation of correspondence, reports and proposals
- Experience in the inspection and condition assessment of civil assets
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member without supervision and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain databases, geographical information systems, asset management system
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Asset Management principles, and systems
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction, or relevant experience in a related field
- Experience in TfNSW bridge inspection and assessment process is highly desirable
- TfNSW Bridge Inspection Procedure Level 2 Training is highly desirable
