- End-to-end WorkCover claim administration: clear communication, suitable duties, return-to-work plans, accurate payments.
- Supporting our team members through the injury management process while focusing on early return to work benefits
- Ongoing effective communication with Insurers to positively impact outcomes
- Undertaking required investigations to gather required information and support insurers receive the information required to assess liability.
- Partnering with managers to maximize injured worker reintegration.
- Data-driven insights: regular reports and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Medical and rehabilitation collaboration: facilitating "return to work" programs.
- Compliance and guidance: ensuring adherence to legislation and SRG procedures.
- Strategic safety support: driving success within safety and compensation functions.
- Regular file reviews: mitigating injury impacts and fostering positive outcomes.
- Culture of care: fostering empathy for injured workers and organizational success.
- You must have at least three years' experience within the Workers Compensation Industry
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated experience dealing with WorkCover matters
- Strong knowledge of WHS & WorkCover legislation
- Sound knowledge of industrial and employee relations theory, principles, policies and practices
- Highly trusted advisor, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands within our dynamic environments
- Demonstrated proactiveness, critical thinking and active listening skills
- Analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Rational and constructive approach.
