About Our ClientListed on the US Stock Exchange, our client is a market leader in their field with unique state of the art and products that has allowed them to gain a loyal and long-standing blue-chip client base with companies worldwide.Job DescriptionAs a key member of the local Executive Management team, the Finance Director will report to the CEO and assume a hands-on and strategic role.This position will see you managing the oversight of the transactional finance and financial reporting, through to the production of value-add management reports. In addition to this, you will manage the capital forecasting on a fortnightly basis, along with the annual budget preparation and submission. Due to the overseas parent being US listed, you will also be directly responsible for the Australian business being SOX compliant in addition to overseeing other non-finance areas such as IT and any other related projects.Lastly, you will support the execution of the company strategy, capital projects and remain as a commercial sounding board for the various business unit heads and non-finance stakeholders.The Successful ApplicantTo be successful in this role you will be CPA/CA qualified and have a proven track record working as a Finance Director or Head of Finance supporting a CEO in a multinational organisation. With over 10+ years' experience in a senior finance leadership role, you will preferably have had exposure to a US owned company and have come from industries such as importing, distribution, and / or an FMCG / Product related environment. You will need a flexible, proactive attitude and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a high level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation which will allow for your success in the role.What's on Offer
