You are also responsible for passenger safety, the verification of and compliance with the Safety Management System on board, and for crew performance.About You

  • Work harmoniously within the team and always remain professional – even when off duty.
  • Have good management skills.
  • Be flexible to take on extra shifts if required.
  • Be available at short notice to join a cruise when there are operational needs.
  • Be always well presented.
  • Be a good handyman.
  • Have good communication and customer service skills.
  • Have an understanding of the following
  • Diesel Engines
  • Electrics, domestic and marine plumbing and pumping systems
  • Housekeeping
Key Skills that are essential to the role are:
  • Master
45m Certificate of Competency - this needs to be recognised by prior to offer. * Senior First Aid Qualification
  • Minimum MED2 Qualification
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of WH&S Regulations
