We will help you unlock the best version of yourself, achieve growth in your career whilst making a real difference to people and communities.Why you will love this opportunity as Senior Product Manager - HealthAs a Senior Product Manager for our Private Health Insurance policy administration and claims management product suites, you will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for your team driven by the overall vision and creating roadmaps that align to Civica's strategic goals.You will be responsible for leading technical product managers, overseeing lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision of becoming a leading SaaS organisation, whilst delivering critical products and services to citizens around the world.You will be an expert in working in complex environments and managing a variety of stakeholders - engineering, design, marketing, commercial and customer success.You will have a hands-on, action-oriented approach and lead by example in the execution of the product strategy for delivery, ensuring that product development practices and roadmaps are aligned to our global vision, to maximise productivity and growth.What you will do to be successful in this role as Senior Product ManagerKey responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry, customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
  • Define and own the product roadmap for our Private Health Insurance product, Ensure.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of product features and releases
  • Take a hands-on approach to defining and prioritising product requirements to guide the engineering process.
  • Plan and execute successful product launches collaborating closely with Product Marketing team, including developing launch plans, positioning, and messaging.
  • Coach and support your direct reports in product management including but not limited to PRDs, refinement, elaboration, release strategy, story mapping etc.
  • Coach and manage the engineers and services staff to deliver on product outcomes.
  • Influence team and stakeholders to support the transition to a product-led approach and an agile way to working.
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed data-driven product decisions
  • Champion a strong culture of knowledge sharing, product decisioning and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Extensive product management experience, working in a modern software or product-led organisation.
  • Strong experience in leading and mentoring high performing teams to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Experience working across a minimum of 2 software or product led organisations, launching and growing multiple products
  • Experience operating with Agile development methodologies to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams
  • Ability to navigate and address the complexities of product lifecycle management, including the transition of multiple customers from legacy systems to a single product roadmap.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome technical, business, and customer challenges.
  • Ability to craft compelling stories to communicate product vision, value, and benefits to various stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions and identify market opportunities with commercial teams.
  • Capable of prioritising features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Driving force behind building and executing a product roadmap and strategy that aligns with customer needs and company goals.
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Notion, Aha and GitHub
  • Technical sales experience will be useful as this enables you to lead customer conversations on how to migrate with minimal disruption.
  • Experience in the Australian Private health Insurance landscape is desired, but not necessary.
