Job Description:DM Roads has a fantastic new opportunity to join our Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC). On behalf of the Department of Transport and Planning we deliver routine maintenance, emergency response and planned work services to more than 8,500 lane kilometres of road in Victoria's Hume Region, stretching from Mitchell Shire on the edge of metropolitan Melbourne to the north-east corner of the State. There are now also opportunities to join our crew for snow clearing and traffic management activities.We have full-time opportunities available for a Road Maintenance and Traffic Management candidates to join our team based out of the following locations in Victoria;

Wangaratta
Broadford
Wodonga
Shepparton

There are a variety of roles including assisting our Road Maintenance teams and support our road users by maintaining all types of road infrastructure, undertaking snow clearing activities and traffic management.Duties may include;
Pavement patching (potholes & dig outs), network inspections, road signage installation and repair, traffic control, bridge maintenance, litter collection, drain clearing and other road maintenance activities as required. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in seasonal work including snow clearing in the winter. This involves plant machinery operation, truck driving, vegetation clearing and traffic management.What you'll bring

A strong motivation to help our community through quality maintenance practices
Current Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid licence (must have)
Construction Induction / White Card (essential)
TMA experience & Traffic Control tickets (highly regarded)
Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant, machinery and equipment
Availability to work night shift, emergency call outs, and weekends when required
Flexible for living away from home work
A commitment to safety and Zero Harm policies
