- Provide legal support to an established legal team
- Provide leadership and mentoring to existing legal support staff
- Work collaboratively to provide exceptional client service and drive high performance
- Work proactively to provide support where needed within the team to maintain efficiency and high performance
- Provide high level, confidential administrative assistance to a Principal Lawyer of a national law firm
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within the firm as well as external stakeholders
- Provide excellent client service at all times
- Experience preferred as a senior Legal Assistant within Personal Injuries (or similar)
- A working knowledge of court and legal procedures
- Unwavering attention to detail, coupled with a methodical approach to tasks
- Demonstrate a growth mindset to support business development and financial initiatives
- A proactive attitude, and the ability to demonstrate leadership and collaboration within the team
- The ability to think strategically in order to forward plan and monitor future priorities
- Proven success in developing strategies and plans to manage email accounts and calendars
- A high competency in Microsoft Office and in particular a willingness to develop advanced skills in MS Excel and MS teams
- Well-developed communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal) and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently to plan, coordinate and organise projects
- Outstanding customer service attributes that include a professional image, customer service focus, active listening skills and sound negotiation skills
- The ability to handle and uphold confidential matters with maturity and common sense
- A record of or enthusiasm for working independently to deliver on shared goals
