We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client's high-performing digital team and play a key role in one of the most exciting digital transformation projects in the country.Working on a multi-year program spanning both customer-facing and core technical systems. You'll be part of the platform team, focusing on testing APIs between the customer facing platform and Amadeus systems; a critical part of delivering seamless travel experiences.Responsibilities:

Develop and own the Quality Planning strategy for your projects.
Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure smooth, consistent project execution.
Identify and resolve QA bottlenecks, suggesting improvements to enhance delivery speed and quality.
Investigate and improve product quality to drive higher customer satisfaction.
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated testing for APIs, web, and mobile platforms.
Monitor and report quality metrics to Senior Management.
Oversee continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes.

What You'll Bring

5-10 years creating and maintaining automated software testing solutions for complex web, mobile, and backend platforms.
3-5 years Agile/Scrum experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Rest Assured.
Skilled in testing REST and SOAP APIs.
Proficient in Java or Kotlin.
Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, Bamboo, Stash).
Strong debugging skills using Splunk, Datadog, or similar monitoring tools.
End-to-end testing expertise across Manual, Integration, and System Testing.
Excellent Test Planning, Defect Management, and Sign-Off skills.
Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Performance and Accessibility testing experience.
Aviation industry background.
Mobile application/API testing experience.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

This role is a 6 month rolling contract based in Sydney with opportunity for extension. The role is a daily rate contract at $850 - 900 incl. of Super per day.
