This includes overseeing projects such as water transfer initiatives, micro-tunneling, deep shaft constructions, and treatment plant upgrades. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager/Portfolio Manager to join our team and lead the way in driving performance and delivering exceptional results.Position Overview:Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Portfolio Manager to oversee their water infrastructure projects. This role goes beyond traditional project management; it requires a strategic thinker and effective leader who can manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water infrastructure projects and a proven track record of driving performance while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 4/5 project managers, providing strategic direction and driving performance to achieve project objectives.
Lead and manage a portfolio of water infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize project performance, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating and empowering them to achieve project objectives and exceed client expectations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and performance metrics.
Provide accurate cost reports and forecasts, aligning with project limitations and deadlines.
Support and develop team and individual capability through mentoring, feedback, celebrating successes, and assisting with individual development plans.

About You:

Hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion, preferably within a tier 1 contracting environment.
Demonstrate extensive experience in complex project management within the water industry.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to develop and execute plans to drive performance and deliver value.
Excel in dynamic contracting service-oriented environments.
Possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Showcase advanced analytical, planning, and prioritization abilities, including financial planning and budgeting skills.
Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team of project managers, driving performance and achieving strategic objectives.
