
IT Support Technician

- Provide front-line support via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues
- Assist with account access, password resets, and user setup
- Deliver basic tech guidance and support to staff
- Set up and maintain IT hardware, AV equipment, and telephony systems
- Support software installs, updates, and patching
- Monitor backups, ensure security compliance, and assist with recovery tasks
- Escalate complex issues and manage ticket resolution
- Contribute to IT projects (upgrades, rollouts, migrations)
- Maintain accurate documentation and IT asset records
- Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory, remote support tools, and ticketing systems
- Hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, laptops, printers)
- Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks independently
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Relevant IT certifications or tertiary qualifications
- Familiarity with Citrix, Exchange, or backup administration
