- Interviewing, writing and voicing skills
- Developing and maintaining contacts in the community
- Research and prepare news reports
- Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience writing news stories
- Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications
- Exceptional communication and written skills
- The ability to work to very tight/ precise deadlines
- An understanding in Broadcast Law Guidelines
