Our client is a contract manufacturer in the pharmaceutical industry. They are a rapidly growing business servicing complimentary medicine, OTC and food industries who pride themselves on being a partner of choice and providing excellent customer service. Due to the business growth, they have implemented new equipment and are now on the look out for an encapsulation machine expert! - Maintain, operate and assist in troubleshooting encapsulation equipment
- Verification of raw materials to ensure correct quantities have been received
- Follow batch records and SOPs to meet production targets
- Conduct quality control checks for in process and finished goods
- Monitor encapsulation equipment/machinery and report abnormalities
- Mentor and train new machine operators on the encapsulation machine
- Solid experience working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- At least 2 years working with encapsulation or tableting machines
- Has experience mentoring and training other staff members
- Ability to work between the hours of 6am -10pm
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Experience working on continuous improvement projects for production machinery
