An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Secondary Science teacher to join a small and welcoming Catholic school community in Melbourne's West. Beginning at the end of Term 3 and continuing into Term 4, this full-time role involves teaching Science to students in Years 7-10, with the possibility of extending into 2026. - Deliver a comprehensive Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Environmental Science) aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Plan engaging, differentiated lessons with hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning.
- Manage laboratory facilities and equipment, ensuring safety, organisation, and correct scientific practices.
- Teach laboratory skills, safety protocols, and ethical research methods.
- Design and assess student learning through tests, experiments, and other assessment tools.
- Maintain professional growth through ongoing development, workshops, and integration of current best practices and technologies.
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Current VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Science advantageous
