As a 2-4 PQE Solicitor, this if your opportunity to join our growing Employment team and be part of a full-service global business law firm. As part of our team you will be able to develop and hone your skills and experience as a top class employment lawyer in our leading national and international employment practice.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is your opportunity to join one of the largest employment teams in the world and advise on a broad range of high profile and complex issues arising in the employment lifecycle across Australia and internationally. You will work with our team to drive change, open new opportunities and accelerate growth for both our clients and our people.
You will deliver exceptional results to clients by advising on:
Both contentious and non-contentious employment matters (to include day to day employment advice)
Local employee relations
The employment aspects of M&A transactions and outsourcing
Expansions or reductions-in-force (restructures and transformation projects, local and multi-national)
The employment aspects of data privacy
Local, cross-border or collective litigation
Local or multi-jurisdictional compliance
Risk management ABOUT YOU
Have applied experience in a private practice setting (2-4 PQE Solicitor)
Be confident to draft documents using a commercial, client focused style
Have knowledge and understanding of how best to utilise information and research resources
Have commercial awareness and understanding of current key legal and business issues
Have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working
Work co-operatively and collaboratively in a team, sharing information and knowledge
Be professional and focused on delivering a quality service, executed in a timely manner, responding effectively to requests from internal and external clients
Manage time effectively and efficiently
Comply with professional standards and all relevant regulatory obligations
Have the ability to develop an effective network of internal and external contacts and the ability to identify ways to contribute collaboratively to the development of the team’s relationships with clients
