Learn more about what Hall & Wilcox can offer you:About the role and teamWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join our Brisbane office.In this role you will lead a high performing Office Services team made up of the service hub (mail room), front of house (reception and catering), and national switchboard. You will ensure that the Office Services team provide prompt, efficient and reliable service to ensure the smooth running of our Brisbane office. This role will also focus on continuous improvement of each function within Office Services.There are over 130 people in our Brisbane office and we are continuing to grow. You will have the opportunity to work closely and build strong working relationships across the office.About youYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services environment where high standards and client focus are essential;
  • Proven supervisory experience, including managing teams and overseeing day-to-day operations;
  • Strong service orientation, consistently delivering high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, fostering positive working relationships across all levels of the business;
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, suitable for liaising with partners, clients, and team members;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of work;
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues efficiently;
  • Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative to improve processes and support team success; and
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
