Field Service Mechanic

- Field and Workshop based duties including site visits for breakdowns, servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Major and minor servicing of plant and equipment including road transport. As well as a repairs and fault-finding hydraulics, pneumatics electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ordering parts for assigned tasks and diagnosing and repairing a wide range of systems.
- Modifying and upgrading systems to meet safety and ergonomic requirements.
- Rebuilding of components testing and commissioning on installation.
- Upskilling operations teams in site daily maintenance requirements
- A trade qualified plant mechanic or motor trade experience within a site construction-based environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a workshop or site maintenance environment with fault diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised servicing and maintaining our modern civil, heavy road transport and asphalting fleet.
- Valid manual drivers licence essential.
- Self-starter with initiative and desire to mentor apprentices.
