Yancoal currently employs over 3,000 people across its operations.If you are looking for an opportunity to join a great team and have experience operating large scale excavators we would love to hear from you!About the RoleYarrabee Coal Company are seeking full time Excavator Operators to join our team in Blackwater, our fleet at Yarrabee comprises of Liebherr: 9600, 9350, 984, 995, 996 & 996B, Hitachi 8000-7 along with a combination of Komatsu 830E, Caterpillar 789 & new Hitachi 5000 dump trucks.This is an opportunity to express your interest in joining a team that embraces diverse talent, working together in a safe environment and delivering strategic outcomes.Roster: 4 Panels, 7:7, rotating Day/Night shifts, 12.5h x 6 + 9h x1 PermanentAbout YouAs an experienced Excavator Operator in the Mining Industry you will posses the below attributes:
- Mining Production Excavator Operator with proven work history of operating 400t - 800t machines
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations.
- Sound communication skills within a mining environment
- Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues
- Demonstrated team building and leadership qualities
- Maintain and possess a current Drivers Licence
- RII Competencies for mining equipment and/or signed skills list by an SSE
