Based in Perth Airport, WA
Salary $75K - $78K per annum

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Perform routine preparation and analysis of soil and water samples with minimal supervision
Prepare working standards and solutions per documented methods
Operate and troubleshoot instruments, ensuring calibration and maintenance are up to date
Prioritise and monitor work to meet deadlines and quality standards
Maintain lab cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and report hazards promptly
Ensure compliance with QA/QC, NATA, and SGS quality systems
Support method development and continuous improvement
Work towards becoming a NATA signatory

QualificationsTo be successful, you will have:

An appropriate tertiary qualification (desirable) or, at minimum, relevant TAFE certificates
Proven experience in an environmental laboratory, with a preference for VOC analysis using a GC Purge and Trap instrument
Flexibility in working hours and tasks
Willingness to work some weekends and occasional overtime
