This role will be based in our Mater Rockhampton clinic (hospital site), located 30 minutes inland from the one of Australia's most beautiful beaches & the iconic Great Keppel Islands. Rockhampton provides the amenities of a big city, whilst also offering housing affordability & some of nature's best playgrounds. With direct flights to Brisbane & Townsville daily, Rockhampton is the perfect regional escape.This role is permanent full-time position, providing the opportunity to grow our Nuclear Medicine services. Key accountabilities include:
  • Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
  • Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key selection criteria:
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
  • Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
  • Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required.
