Sunday: $38.78The Jazz Corner Hotel is looking for several skilled and passionate Cooks to join our culinary team. Working in a vibrant boutique hotel environment, home to the renowned Bird’s Basement, you’ll prepare and present high-quality dishes for breakfast, in-room dining, and event service, ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen at its best.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistent, high standard.
- Assist in breakfast, room service, and event menus.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Support stock management, rotation, and waste minimisation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in hotels, cafés, or restaurants.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
