Our head office plays a pivotal role in driving and fostering the JBS culture of excellence, believing that success is achieved through collective hard work.JBS can provide you with more than just a job; it can provide you with a rewarding long-term career!About the RoleDue to upcoming parental leave, we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing & Communications Officer to join our Marketing team in a temporary full-time basis (through to August 2026). Working closely with the Marketing, Sales, HR, and Operations teams this role will cover the development and distribution of marketing communications materials to both internal and external stakeholders, managing marketing campaigns and projects, and supporting our sites with community engagement.Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and distributing communication materials including articles for internal newsletters, press releases and business focused social media posts
Leading the internal Calendar of Key Events, focusing on site-based events including communication to key stakeholders, briefing design of respective collateral, distribution of materials and post event communications
Supporting our site teams with local area marketing and community engagement recommendations
Leading and facilitating Market Strategy meetings with the Sales and Marketing teams, providing advice and guidance on recommended marketing activities encompassing B2B and B2C activities and working directly with customers where required

About You

Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture with Marketing or Communications major favourable
Previous experience in a marketing and/or communications environment
Experience working in a B2B environment
Knowledge of agricultural systems and exporting/importing of commodities advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Natural inclination to provide strong customer service
